The Faszination Modellbau fair in Sinsheim completed its 15th successful year with a record 55,000 visitors. As of 2010 the flagship of Messe Sinsheim’s model engineering events will be moving to the Karlsruhe Trade Fair Center. Every year in spring Faszination Modellbau is the first model exhibition after the Nuremberg Toy Fair to present the latest innovations to the general public. Some 400 exhibitors, clubs and associations from many countries present an unmatched exhibition of all fields of model engineering: model railways, cars and trucks, aircraft and model ship building, as well as plastic and paper modelling. Special features of the show are School Project Day on Thursday and a new campaign “Active Modelling” with exciting interactive activities for visitors. For exhibitors and visitors the only change is the venue. The successful concept of Faszination Modellbau will be continued at the new venue Karlsruhe. Messe Sinsheim GmbH as event organiser continues to focus on an entertaining mix of spectacular shows, informative demonstrations and attractive displays - and of course the fascinating atmosphere “made by Messe Sinsheim”.
