Model engineering fairs “powered by Messe Sinsheim” are well known to model makers from all over Germany and abroad. Faszination Modellbau Sinsheim is the oldest and largest of Messe Sinsheim’s model fairs with many years of success – thanks to its high quality and attractive exhibitor programme. The Faszination Modellbau fair in Sinsheim completed its 15th successful year with a record 55,000 visitors. As of 2010 the flagship of Messe Sinsheim’s model engineering events is moving to the Karlsruhe Trade Fair Center, where the infrastructure is also ideal for the show. The dates of the show in Karlsruhe continue to be oriented on the Nuremberg Toy Fair, so that in future Faszination Modellbau remains the first fair of the season to present the latest innovations to the general public.
The Karlsruhe fairground offers plenty of room for the “Fascination” show to expand, with enough space to hold the popular FMT Innovation Airshow on the adjacent airfield. The proximity to the old location of Sinsheim is also an advantage, as loyal attendees will mingle with potential new visitors from the catchment area of Karlsruhe. The successful concept of Faszination Modellbau will be continued at the new venue. Messe Sinsheim GmbH as event organiser continues to focus on an entertaining mix of spectacular shows, informative demonstrations and attractive displays - and of course the fascinating atmosphere “made by Messe Sinsheim”.
